The turtle VS the hare.

The turtle VS the hare.I am watching and waiting for Malaysia to get their act together. Watching and waiting and waiting.... and waiting. IBR sold a master licence to Asean Technology International Ltd. on Jukly 17, 2006. It looks like 'Asean' sold a sub-licence to a company called 'AGSB Bio-Recovery' also in Malaysia. AGSB plans to build their first plant in a city called Papar in the state of Sabah. It will service the region. Apparently there area few planned but who is to say for sure. Just ONE would give me confidence that IBR is on the right path and that the years of failed attempts are behind us. ARTICLE TAKEN FROM: Daily Express- INDEPENDENT NATIONAL NEWSPAPER OF EAST MALAYSIA dated December 09, 2006. "Kota Kinabalu: The country's first biotechnology waste processing plant costing RM78 million will be built in Papar following the signing here Friday of recycle concession contract agreements between AGSB Bio-Recovery (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and 11 local authorities (PBTs). The State Government does not have to fork out a sen under the agreement. In fact, Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor said the Government does not even have to provide land for AGSB, which would be acquiring a 10-acre property in Papar to build the plant." "The plant would be built only after they receive the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report from the Environment Department." "He said AGSB would be using special bacteria from a Canadian company, International Bio-Recovery Corporation."
