IBR appoints new Director and new Chairman of the Board

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, Jan. 10 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of International Bio Recovery Corporation ("IBR") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bai Lin Zhang, President of International Bio Fertilizer Corp. of Vancouver, B.C., to the Board of Directors of IBR.
This appointment is in accordance with the previously announced agreement of December 24, 2001 for which IBR received $2,000,000 for the private placement of 1,600,000 shares being the completion of the first phase of the $7,000,000 technology sale in China. Additionally, Mr. Ben Van Dyk has been reappointed Chairman of the Board. The Board wishes to express its gratitude to Mr. William Winnett for filling in as interim Chairman.
