I just voted NO with my stack of share (just wanted to get this over with, since I now have the piece of paper that shows the Control Number which the same as that given to me on the phone by my broker, no hassle since I am in Canada?).
- get proxyvote.com up on line .
- enter the 16-digit Control Number, and press Submit
- Don't put any name (de Jong, Salamis, St-Germain) in the blank box.
- Skip down to where you can choose "Against", to vote NO to management recommendation (don't choose "For"). Just choose Against (=NO) on the electronic form, and your NO vote will be collected by this server and sent to ICG electronically.
- You coud put in your personal e-mail for a notification. My notification came in almost instantly on my personal e-mail.
If you have voted electronically there is no need to send in the paper proxy for which you would need to sign and put in the post-paid envelope provided, but it may get lost or may not get to the company in time for a vote count. The snail mail is really really slow. In fact, there is a note somewhere that says you would need to allow a few days before 29 June for your vote to be counted.
