they profit from high volume to do swings trades for pennys...
maybe w dots...maybe not...


the houses make most of their money from commissions and the interest they charge on margin. Most houses will also bet against their clients especially the losing ones(huge conflict of interest I know) but they aren't wasting much of their time with penny stocks. And yes the houses and market makers can manipulate stocks it usually comes in the forum of driving a price down to trigger stop losses that are clustered in a price range. And yes they profit from high volume, more trades equals more commissions.
