ICIENA ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR
Furtherto Iciena Ventures Inc.'s news in Stockwatch on Dec. 18, 2009,announcing the corporate update, Johnathan M. Cooper has been appointedas a member of the company's board of directors subject to regulatoryapproval. The company now has three directors as required by TSXVenture Exchange policy.
Mr. Cooper is the president of BlackInk Ltd., a financial modelling and technical writing firm. Prior tothis, Mr. Cooper was national sales manager with a European watchcompany. His duties included financial forecasting, budget planning andmanaging sales teams nationwide. He was also formerly a licensed stockbroker in Vancouver, B.C. Mr. Cooper brings with him considerablecorporate experience and will be a valuable asset to Iciena.
The board of directors now consists of Kent Couillard, Kelly Fielder and Mr. Cooper.
