This is quite normal on company in developing phase. Let's see how long they take to get the million dollars. It will show how many investors are out there willing to put cash here.

Yes often companies only disclose the interest once the investors are already in. They want to avoid the "we did not manage" effect. My feeling is that they needed this cash to buy the gold property. After the cash we should see some news saying ok we bought the gold mine with that money and it's producing ... We shall see
