RE:RE:The bleeding resumes

RE:RE:The bleeding resumestkirk, I agree with many of your points. Building reserves is ultimately the long-term way to build shareholder value. However, I would not discount increasing buybacks as an effective tool ASSUMING the company is doing well and the stock is cheap. The same argument would hold for increasing the dividend.

I am concerned with Brad’s level of selling. Why sell over 120K shares if shares are extremely cheap. And if the stock isn’t cheap after such a drop then what does it say about the company. And I think you mentioned months ago that the size of the buyback essentially matched the same size of options given to company insiders. Perhaps Brad will just print more shares to cover the ones he sold.

I’m sticking around as a shareholder if mortgage streams continue to show promise. The mortgage stream numbers so far look encouraging but will the growth remain strong and sustainable, or will it slow as other streams have. This will determine the company’s fate imo. Brad isn’t displaying overwhelming confidence imo. I don’t care if I’m buying a house or giving to a charity, if the company’s stock is cheap and the company is hitting on all cylinders, then I’m not selling.
