Hi gold, I mean this with no disrespect - but your just simple not correct. $12/bu was available throughout July at the crushers. It was absolutely one million percent not lower in July than the week they did that press release. $10.25 is the lowest price I have seen all year for canola. I follow this very closely and have multiple sources in the industry. You are correct - the timing does have to do with the start of harvest. The start of harvest is always when there is the most grain available to the market, so that is generally when prices are the lowest. That is true of this year.
