RE:RE:RE:Ronbromleygross, my guess is tkirk recommends CI FinancialLike I said, I don't want to get into a discussion of the merits of one company on the bullboard of another. But CIX has diversified into lower fee products (own the robo Wealthbar), is actively lowering its fees on high fee products, but most importantly, is trading at a value that gives it little respect at all. CI's margins are going to go down a lot, probably 0.05-0.1% MER, while also losing more AUM. This will hit CI, but it is trading at like 8x FCF if I remember correctly, so the valuation has a big margin of safety.

I can fully understand why you wouldn't like it, but to call it a dog is unfair. Stocks outperform when actual results differ from the market's expectations - the market is very pessimistic about CI's future, but I believe it is overestimating the downside. That's what makes a market. Input may very well outperform CI, I don't pretend I can see the future, I just have chosen one's risks over the others.

Now for the sake of staying on topic, I think it's best we drop the CI conversation here. If you'd like to discuss its merits it has a stockhouse page as well.
