Prior to joining Maxim Group, Mr. Kumar was head of technology research at Rodman & Renshaw and Collins Stewart. He has also held senior analyst positions with Raymond James and Piper Jaffray, and was an analyst at Prudential Securities. Prior to his career as a research analyst, Mr. Kumar held engineering and marketing positions at Intel. He is frequently quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Business Week, and Fortune, and is regularly featured on CNBC and Bloomberg. He was named to Smart Money magazine’s 30 Most Influential People in Investing in December, 2000. Mr. Kumar received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
