You would think that with Google available 24-7, and the fact that they bought a highly speculative highly risky stock, that they would do at least a few searches on trading terms they don't know before investing. How did they ever get a trading account? Unfortunately, the simple answer to that is because they have money to spend on fees. As long as you are willing to recklessly spend your money, people are willing to take it from you.

I think the reason that there have been no lawsuits launched thus far is because of shame. By the time you admit defeat, and assess what you have ignored to get yourself into the mess you are in, you see that your chances of success are limited. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try if you feel honestly cheated, just that you have to take a certain amount of responsibility for your own foolishness.

Yappn/INT have agreements, not contracts.

RS....have you ever tried to initiate a complaint with the securities regulators in Canada? If not, then I can tell you it is a complete waste of time. First and most importantly, they will NEVER follow up with you as to whether they did any investigation at all or whether they found out any wrong doing. They claim confidentiallity and fear of damaging a companies reputation for not announcing ANYTHING about complaints brought forward.

So you raise a complaint and sit and wait and hope something comes of it.....which it NEVER does.
