The use of NFC for mobile payments must be coupled with a mobile wallet which is always an app on the device used to manage a virtual payment card. It will either be that app or the terminal that "calls home" to the McDonald's back end to report on use of coupons delivered by the app. It would likely be the app that uses the device location services to report geo-location data as well.

The SDP could conceivably be used to push a link to the app in the Google PlayStore or Apple's app store but it would not be part of any mobile payments use case...it could drive the outdoor screens at the drive through though.
