Importance of AP1 patent for iSign

The creation of a network of interconnected beacons is a time consuming (=expensive) exercise.  Some of the challenges faced by a  company setting up the network include:
 

1. Making all devices communicate with each other [Setup]
2. Ensuring that security issues are addressed [Security]
3. Providing a way for easy maintenance of the network once  it has been setup [Maintenance]

 
AP1 patent addresses these challenges and will give iSign a cost-effective advantage when setting up a network of beacons.  I believe part of the lack of traction for ISD relates to overcoming the above challenges.
