RE: Any thoughts on MCI WorldCom & UUnet spinoff

RE: Any thoughts on MCI WorldCom & UUnet spinoffNot sure what Itemus could SPECIFICALLy offer. I do know that my father, given the advise of his broker, bought him into WCOM at $51 US before the tech meltdown. Ouch. One of many smart plays his broker made for him. Ie. I told him 2 weeks ago to buy into Research in Motion (buy in at 35-37).... he phoned his broker the next day... broker told him he wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole (apparently he thinks the blackberry pager is going to be competed against by MSFT- wippee do competition has always been part of the game). For those that follow RIM.. I think you know what happened last week. To say the least... my dad pulled his account... and is left with about 80% of what he initially started with last summer. Beware of the broker... a lot of idiots out there.
