Yeah, thanks.
i found some others from waaaaaaaaaay back talking about
how Sprott was trying to weasel people out of their shares before
the runup and about options and grants being issued just days before
the Dec 10 announcement. Really neat historical stuff.
Others (gold bugs) talking about the unusual trading patterns 1-3 months
prior to Dec 99 marking accumulation. The net net value of the stock at one time was really a cant lose deal. the marketable securities alone were
worth more than the stock price! (lihir) it was at like .17 cents and the
net net was like .55 cents. Unbelievable! The internet thing only added
potential explosive upside. What a find on the TSE last year!!
I am certain alot went on in the back room on this deal. If a hack off the street with a e-trade account could make 1000% with average stock pick skills
and a little patience and common sense what did the pros (Sprott) make!!!
They were buying everything off the ask.
Hmmmmmm.
