There was only a gap from $1.1-1.30 and then it road all the way to $1.87? Not much of a gap?

My sense is the gap is significant and should be respected. When a stock trades with overwhelming volume, volume that is way beyond its norm, and then retreats more than 10% from its high of the day that is usually an indicator that the upside is unsustainable.
