By the way of the presentation, Panasonic announced also that the company will not offer Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) EV batteries, often seen as an affordable alternative for entry-level, standard range EVs or energy storage systems.

Yep, that surprised me a bit.   For that reason Tesla went straight to BYD with a 10GW deal for 1/4 Million EVs.  Now Apple is trying to join the LFP show too: https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1133955_apple-seeks-lfp-batteries-suppliers-byd-and-catl
