RE:RE:RE:KDI Share value when allotted from MPV
I was under the impression that the spinoff was on a tax free basis. If not, the dividend should have been claimed last year. I had Scotia Mcleod check twice as to the base value and they insist it is $1.4683 which is good for me and would make the difference between this and $4.00 capital gains.
Is there anybody who can confirm??
