KDI sv PGD

This shows the two best holes for KDI to PGD. Bulks sample results pending on Kimberlite 5 unit in the CH-7 diamond results due any day in Sept are simply off the charts and make PGD a screaming buy.But here is a look provided by poster EKIM of CH-6 that produced its 5 top diamonds as white gem Octahedrons.(the best shape sought after by cutters)

The quality of large diamonds are clearly far better than KDI:

I think CH-6 Octahedron's win out big time over KK2015 macles...but that won't be finally found out until valuation results come out. So, I will leave final judgement for that time period.
I did a macro population table that is factual.
Normalized it to 10,000 stones above 1.18 as CH-6 at 0.85 is inacccurate and KDI did not release a 1.18 mm grade...so you are left with just comparing # stones.

You can see KDI Kelvin has the edge in the earlier sieves...but CH-6 takes over into the higher macro sieves.
If the type, colour and quality were exactly the same for CH-6 and Kelvin (which they are not)...then based on the macro population curve...ch-6 would win out.

I threw in the CH-7 mini bulk of Domain 1...just for a bit of a teaser leading into the bulk sample results.
Normalized to 10,000 stones...it is pretty impressive.
I think CH-7 stones may produce larger stones than even CH-6...but CH-6 will producer higher quality stones in the end. I'm hoping for a fight between the 2 for top carat value.

LONG...PGD

Sorry oiltar, but I've decided the best action here is my rare use of the IGNORE button.  This is the KDI thread, and I've finally tired of your pumping Peregrene. You bought it, and somehow you've got to get out of it without too major a loss. Good luck on that one. Brit

Putting down a stock to promote another will not have much of an effect, or at least not the desired one, and Oiltar does not get it. Even if he is right, I don't know too many people who get a kick out of being told that they made a mistake.

Reality is that people like to be able to compare...and although many of us know how different diamond projects are...it still doesn't prevent comparisons. And right now, KDI and PGD stand to be the next diamond mines in Canada (that are not currently under construction).  SGF is a different beast altogether and is so different..it can't really be compared to any other diamond ...more

Hey ekim, According to your portfolio you're already down almost 93% from where you bot PGD.  Wouldn't it be better to cut your losses, carry the capital loss forward to future tax years, and take what's left of your proceeds and put it into KDI? KDI may well take a few years to reach $10, but do you really think PGD will amount to much? JMHO Cheers, Brit

Don't worry about my portfolio. It can take more then a few years to realize a significant profit. I'm sure most traders would quiver that thought. When you understand and like something you can maintain your % ownership or increase your % ownership over the years. That is exactly what I've done. Huge majority of people don't have a clue about Chidliak. Some majority won't ...more

Hey Oil Man - Everyone knows Chidliak's diamond are great. Everyone knows Chidliak has great grade. BUT, everyone knows Chdiliak doesn't have the tonnes to make a mine. THAT'S WHY BHP AND DE BEERS WALKED FROM CHIDLIAK. What's so difficult to understand about that? You can pump PDG all you like on the KDI board. That's not going to magically grow tonnes at Chidliak! Time to move ...more

THAT'S WHY BHP AND DE BEERS WALKED FROM CHIDLIAK. That is no better than Oiltar's statements.

explorer49 if you did your home work you wouls see that the cimbined tonnage of the CH-7 and CH-7 is monre than KDIs target of 10 to 13 million tons.Ch- 6&7 combined is 14 million tones. Then the CH-31 is 25 million tons add in the other 5 pipies we get well over 50 million tons. Before you make statements go get the facts first please. This is not my estimate for the KDI sample but it close ...more
