... News release yesterday updating on ...... the Kore acquistion and announcing drill program at Gold Creek property in BC.
I am curious if anybody knows how far apart Kore’s Imperial project is from the Long Valley project? According to the report, historical results (not currenly compliant) show measured, indicated and inferred Au potential resources of 1.78 million ounces Au at Long Valley and 2.17 million ounces at Imperial. Total between the two is 3.95 million ounces. Goldcorp should be familiar with the Imperial project which had a historicak feasibility stufy and enviroment impact study published by Glamis (now Goldcorp) done in 1996.
Why is this interesting? Well goldcorp has been increasing their ownership in V.GSV which is developing 3 separate projects in Nevada that are in close proximity to each other with 3.6 million ounces Au indicated and inferred with room to grow the size of the deposit. V.GSV has a half billion dollar market capitalization today.
If Long Valley and Imperial are in close proximity to each other and Kore can update the feasibility studies and grow the resource, thenbwould like to think the newco has big long term potential.
I am guessing that California is not as mine friendly as Nevada but who knows what could happen. I am looking forward to see where this thing trades at when reinstated as Kire.
Don’t listen to me though. I am a novice investor.
