840 meters of 0.72% Cu eq.5.2% of the company is held by management and insiders
28.5% is held by institutional investors
29.3% is held by strategic and high-net-worth investors
19.6% ( of 29.3% ) owned by Anglo Asian, the largest shareholder.
37% held by retail.
108.19 million shares outstanding.
Combaluzier,
who rated the stock a Buy with a target of CA$0.95 per share.
Pit-constrained inferred resource at Mocoa contains
636 million tonnes of 0.45% copper equivalent (Cu eq)
4.6 billion pounds Cu
511 million pounds molybdenum (Mo).
The deposit appears to be open in both directions, along and at depth.
The company also has identified additional porphyry targets,
including a possible expansion of the known mineralization.
Libero Copper and Gold Corp. is partnering with
Anglo Asian Mining Plc on the initial design, engineering,
and financial modeling work on its Mocoa project in Putumayo, Colombia.
MOLYBDENUM ( 0.036 % )
I decided to use Libero's conservative 355,000,000 million tonne estimate
Molybdenum spot price - $72,000 / tonne
355,000,000 tonnes ( x ) 0.036% Mo
= 127,000 tonnes
= 281,160,000 lbs
x $32.70 usd pound
= $9,193,932,000 usd ( billion ) ( just moly, no copper )
Most recent drill result at, Mocao
Libero drilled at the project in 2022 and intercepted 840 meters of 0.72% Cu eq.
That's 2,730 foot copper intercept. ( mind boggling )
My thoughts are,
If Libero drills anymore, it will only make the deposit all the
more expensive to - buy.
Next move the junior makes,
could reveal lots ( where retail ) sits in packing order.
If, junior drills on own, dilutes.... eshkks.
If, Anglo offers more, could get interesting.
And... the wishful thought of, Anglo just buys the junior out.
I wonder what Libero's ( prez ) is thinking ?
Does Libero, really want to be apart of - Anglo build out ?
Should the junior even walk this path ?
Or.... is it better to, sell... drill out the next deposit ?
Warrants at, $0.15 cents....
Do they want these warrants tripped ?
I've noticed there's been some heavy volumes since 2021
Spikes of, several million shares ( bought, sold, and collected )
I kind of like,
deposit is far larger but, only 355 mil tonnes is applied
That creates a partial calling card to, entice.
Even how Libero only uses $10/ lb molybdenum
When, molybdenum is = $32.70/ lb
World needs copper....lots of, it.
Whether, batteries or potential hydrogen fuel cells...
Makes copper a saught after commodity.
Colombia, could really position itself on the global
scene if they fast tracked, Mocao deposit.
Give Chile, some solid competition.
Some of the intel was extracted from this superb, article.
Very well written. ( compliments )

Cheers...
As mentioned in prior post...
Copper cathodes for batteries are great.
But... if copper can also be used for - green hydrogen production,
then... copper could have 2 great future paths.
The trick to hydrogen fuel cells ?
Not transporting cold compressed hydrogen.
Not using hydrogen preasure tanks on, vehicles...
Rather, vehicles drive up to same fuel stations to fill
up with, salt fuels and copper fuel cells with in vehicles
make hydrogen on demand. That, simple.
