Off Topic but a good value play...

Off Topic but a good value play...I own a little Longford just on the idea that if it's good enough for Soros....

Closer to home, there's another interesting play developing reasonably quickly: Second Wave (SCS) on Toronto. This is an oil story using horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracs to produce from the edges of long producing fields in the Swan Hills-Judy Creek area of Alberta. There are 2 smaller companies involved in this play - Arcan (ARN) is busy just to the east of the Swan Hills field, and to the south, SCS working east of Judy Creek. Kind of in between them is a bunch a land owned by a private company, Coral Hills, which rumour has it recently hit a 3500 b/d well.

I think I read on this Longford board a few months ago some comments from an investor/speculator who said he only played a few situations per year, looking for an indication there was something there, a big land position, and importantly, big money involvement. His point was that LFD fit the bill. Good common sense approach.

Second Wave also fits the bill.

Good luck;
