I just had NamasteMD call me (prior to my scheduled appointment) letting me know that I would not be able to speak with a doctor unless I provide them uploaded documentation from my own doctor. Which seems odd (as you've mentioned) because shouldn't the NamasteMD doctor be able to diagnose? I guess their doctors will just be validating other doctors diagnosis.. seems odd.
I was then provided an email address to send the document (once I visit my own doctor to obtain the document) to in which a NamasteMD rep would then upload it to my profile.
Definitely not the best first impression but it is day 1 for them, so I'll give them that. Aside to that, it's good (but bad) that they really want to validate that you are in fact in need of a prescription. However, if this process continues it will deter a lot of rec users that want to jump on the medicinal train.
