At this point its down to a 50/50 chance, theres 43 independents 33 conservatives 11 liberals a bunch absent etc it will be close. If it fails then the whole bill will have to be rewritten and might as well say it could take a year. It will be extremely close, like within a few votes close, senators were urged to be at work today even if its not until the end of the day, yet 12-20 independents are missing so whether or not they make it back in time or not will tell the tale. Most are agricultural senators that had a meeting in Calgary and other ones missing are the ones that have to do with native affairs and a big meeting to do with that. If they gave a damn about this bill they would be there and were told to be there no matter what by the house as this is so important and its what Canadians voted for
