RE:RE:Did a bit of digging about Chokolat edibles license

RE:RE:Did a bit of digging about Chokolat edibles licenseHi.  To help clarify things with respect to our license application, we have applied for our own processing license.  Once it's granted we'll most likely be selling our products through Cannmart to avoid the HUGE excise tax implication ($75,000 up front bond to CRA, and then another $50,000 +/- payable immediately to CRA upon shipment of our products).  Once we have put a few shipments through Cannmart and we have some money banked to cover these costs we will then apply to have the public sales restriction removed from our license.  At that time we'll manufacture and sell directly to whomever we can legally sell to - organizations such as the AGLC, and so forth.

The biggest hurdle right now is gettting our application reviewed by Health Canada.  We submitted our comprehensive evidence packaged back in July, and should have heard back from them by now.  THEY are dragging their feet.  We're ready to go.  In fact I have a 40 foot container of compliant chocolate bar boxes arriving Wednesday!  Anyone want to come by and help unload?  :-)

I hope that clarifies things!  We're ready to rock and roll!!!
