Does anyone know what interest payment you make if you buy the debs now? Will you pay 3 years worth, 3 months worth or none?

It's been a while since I bought any of these but at the time the interest I paid was zero. That's right, zero. These debs are pure junk, less than junk even, that's why the bid is $4. GLTA.

The company is keeping them alive rather than pay them off with shares. At 4 cents on the dollar, the debs could be a long shot in case of a buyout of Lakeview. Alberta's economy will turn around eventually, then Lakeview will be making tgood money again.

I bought $200,000 worth of the C debentures for $760. Good chance they will be worthless but next year when they renew and the interest is due, the company may pay them out with common shares at the average price 20 days preceding the exchange date. Of course the announcement would be made before the 20 days so the share price would go to 1/2 a cent, only because the TSXV doesn't allow lower ...more
