My reasoning about Northvolt is that a great quantity of graphite will eventually be need. Lac Gueret is probably the best place to mine it. Nouveau Monde will be compelled to exploit it and will then brought Mason. If not, Mason have 49% of the mine.
I could be wrong about my reasoning. I never understand why Mason sold an option to Nouveau Monde for a relatively small amount of money except if their intent was to be later swallowed by Nouveau Monde.
