For one thing, i don't think that LME would be dealing with private equity-they would be dealing with producers, so naturally private equity would not have heard of them.
As far as their not stating that they have proven 10m GEOs, I think that all ties into what Roger wrote the other day about not releasing resource estimates before the buyout. As far as the reason for this, Roger does not indicate, but I suspect that they don't want stock price to jump prior to buy-out.
