like I've previously posted , considering the potential asking price for LME, I don't think  majors can or will empty out their cash reserves to do an all cash deal...so perhaps a joint venture buyout from more than one gold majors or with private equity 
OR
Cash plus shares deal (which usually results in a selloff of the acquirers stock and lower share price...and thus less for us LME shareholders)
