Rumours

Here are my musings oon the recent posts and future.
To say Roger starts the rumours is false. The rumours only start with Roger’s posts because we interpret them to fit our views of what we want to believe. See Matlas’s post where he states the post confirms his prophecy of sold this year. Hopefully correct but I doubt it and here’s why.
“Is now best positioned as an acquisition target” could be argued to mean 1) better than it ever has been not necessarily best can be. Obviously we are better positioned now, than we were 1,2,5… years ago, as we have drilled proven and expanded the strike; but just as obvious, is we would be in an even better position if we had the NI43-101 and or a feasibility study or more drilled holes proving an even larger mineralized zone. Anything extra only adds to a better position for acquisition and a higher buyout price. When you consider Cynthia and Roger by extension have been involved in Laurion for almost 20 years, NOW could easily be within the next year or two.
We discuss and debate everything as we have little else to do while we wait but I wouldn’t say we create rumours. Only those who read bullboard posts as their DD might call our opinions rumours when the results don’t make them immediately rich. I don’t believe the majority of this board expected a sale to be announced at the AGM or that any of those here for the long haul have sold any shares because it wasn’t announced but Roger is correct that a large enough number who bought over the summer were speculating they would.
All the chatter about the CFO change being a reason for the drop was just an excuse to get out. Another Jr I follow, is up 50% since a new CFO was announced a month ago. Our Ex CFO hasn’t even sold his shares, so that should be a positive.

Do we need more studies or drill results to be acquired? No, but they would certainly make the price higher.  We now have more great drill results but are still awaiting the results of 7 more holes. This could the reason they have not come out with a definitive drill plan for the future? For a company that has been upfront with its planning of the past 5 years I guess the good news is they haven’t done a new five year plan but have just laid out the next years plan. Which I hope means we won’t need a second year plan. Currently the ‘only’ plan is “Advance the Ishkoday project” by “further exploration and operational milestones” which “may make Laurion a more attractive target or partner for potential merger, acquisition”.

The 2023 exploration program will focus on increasing the definition of the current zones, by systematic drilling to increase volumes and grade/thickness intercepts. The objective of this drilling phase will be to define sufficient volumes with the hopes of moving the project to its maiden mineral resources estimation (the estimation will be initiated once management determines that the data, interpretation and timing will represent significant value creation to the investors).

To make this Cynthia’s Grand Slam homerun I believe they will put in a few more months of increasing volumes to get the Best resource estimation possible. The “critical juncture” is the studies to finalize the value for the sale.

To me this means the ‘NOW’ is the best time to buy more shares and at the current price I am doing just that and hold for the coming rise in value. Hopefully Matlas is correct and I will be richer this year but I believe Roger’s 40 Years of experience is also correct and the short-term speculators will probably find themselves jumping back into LME chasing the stock price up.
Patience and discipline are required.

Cheers

Thanks for interesting and inciteful post DAM$. As should be obvious from my prior posts, I defintely disagree with your conclusions. I think all any of us can say at this stage is "time will tell!".

I agree for the most part with your thoughts DAM$.
