US vs. CAD stock

Sorry if this question has been asked before, I am just trying to understand the difference.  I understand the currency exchange, but how come the stock is different daily?  Yesterday the US stock was up, CAD down.  Today currently the opposite?  Just looking for some insight!

LMEFF is OTC not auction market. So prices will differ in short term.

I ave not taken a close enough look at it, but my assumption is that (besides the arbitrage effect) the exchange rate fluctuations is causing this. LME is a CAD company so they are going to apply an exchange rate to the valuation on the stock price. CAD is down a cent today when I checked and a penny on a 40cent stock is pretty big. So although the CAD stock is up, the CAD dollar is down, having ...more
