3...From 1.23 million tons ROM , Pine Cove would recover ( contain ) about 22,000 ( 14000 ) ounces of gold fines from its tailings pond ....grades close to 1 ounce per ton
4...From 5 million tons of ROM, Pine cove would recover ( contain ) about 90,000 ( 57,000 ) ounces of fines from its tailings ...about $200 m ( $125 m ) in CAD
It should be noted that the above estimate also includs fines from the wash plant of the Aggregates Plant ......Approx 25,000- 30,000 ounces would not have been recovered from the 10 year Pine Cove mine and discharged as tailings into the tailings pond
