RE:everyone
RE:everyoneLet's keep this real, everyone.
I've been on this board expressing frustration just like everyone else and I've suggested that we send emails to Mr. Weir-Jones en masse in an effort to get some sort of communiication about MBI's future prospects. It's extremely frustrating to see and hear nothing positive about this investment month after month. If been invested for 4 or 5 years now. I'm not at all happy about this results. Nor am I very optimistic about our prospects.
That being said, let's not label Mr. WJ as a scammer. I have significant shares but they pale in comparison to his investment. He's also an active businessman in Vancouver and I have every confidence he is a hardworking honest man. Let's not forget, he also ousted previous executives who were paying themselves for similar results while Mr. WJ is not.
Even though I want to hear from Mr. WJ, he would have many correct reasons for keeping silent if there is nothing to report. Foremost, press releases with little substance that are issued just to placate frustrated investors are a waste of money ($8k - $10k for each instance I'm told) ... money the company doesn't have to burn. Absent a press release, Mr. WJ cannot communicate anyrthing of substance. Anything that might influence the stock price has to be shared with the entire public through a proper press release.
That being said, I'm surprised that nobody on this board has had any direct contact with Mr. MW and my share simple statements of assurance that the company is not dead and that a future path is being pursued, regardless of what that may be.
If the Insider Trading reports start to show Mr. WJ dumping his shares, only then will I assume the company is completely dead. Barring that, I have to believe Mr. WJ is just as frustrated as the rest of us.
