BC Hydro mCloud partnership

Here is the link to the offering they announced.  $4k in credits to sign up.  Should be a good onboarding funnel.  I don't know who the other utilities are yet.

The utility paying for the upfront hardware is a good incentive but businesses must also be convinced that their energy savings will exceed the monthly recurring fees payable to MCLD.

Yes, convincing is needed, but keep in mind that you get cost savings from the reduced energy consumption + reductions in subscription costs from the automated demand response.  Plus you can get the indoor air quality monitoring.  But ya i don't know to what degree buildings will sign up or how motivated they are...  it appears to be an easy sell for larger institutions where ...more
