RE:RE:RE:RE:Few QuestionsIf you’re looking at risks then for CGL they include Mike Sawyer forcing through an NEB review and the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs stopping the pipeline from going through their territory. If you’re looking at TMX the risks include Trudeau cancelling the pipeline (basically zero chance), the B.C. government prohibiting more oil from being transported through their province, other lawsuits re endangered species or otherwise filed by B.C., Vancouver/Burnaby or both or the activists. The biggest challenge will probably come from the native activists (I don’t like the blanket term natives cause it’s only the media making it out as if all natives are against the pipelines). Then even if it all goes through there will be activists doing all sorts of illegal stuff to stop construction in the lower mainland. Good thing MCR isn’t due to build through there.
Man I’d love to see all these protestors crying and wailing as they get pulled off to jail. The judge dealing with them was giving out I increasingly harsh penalties last summer. Let’s hope he picks up where he left off.
