I did some digging on the Getskin app and you are correct this is a plastic surgeon gaming the system. Theydo not have a network of dermatologists assessing the mole or lesion in question. I can assure you the images provided by a video camera are not of high enough quality to render a proper assessment. Even though the consult was under OHIP the removal would have been cosmetic and out of pocket. To state because of your history he would suggest removal without a biopsy is a money grab. This will eventually get reported and proper guidlines will stop this kind of treatment.
I am sure the clinics will be running the screening service perfectly there are always bugs in the beginning especially with a brand new clinic.
