Strange coincidence...? Any insight would be appreciated

Strange coincidence...? Any insight would be appreciatedSsoooooo......trying to make heads or tails about this one (see link: Mines & Projects | DS Gold Mining ). There is an company called DS Gold Mining based out of what looks like Illinois and it 'surprisingly' has the following projects listed on their website....La Trinidad (Mako past producing mine), Commonwealth (Marlin's old property) and Gavilanes (going to be spun out to Sailfish shareholders under new company called Swordfish)......what is this all about...? Im confused...? I assumed Gavilanes was going to be packaged up with Commonwealth as was insinuated? Any insight would be greatly apprecaited. How can 2 separate companies state claim to the same property..?
DS Gold Mining is a growth-oriented gold and silver mining company focused on the Americas. The company owns three properties located in Mexico and the USA and a portfolio of royalties. DS Gold Mining's priority is to profitably operate its La Trinidad Mine, conduct further exploration on its other projects and enhance shareholder value through a strategic relationship with Sailfish Royalty Corp. (TSX-V:FISH). DS Gold Mining is backed by a well-funded investor with a successful track record in the resources sector. The La Trinidad Mine in Sinaloa, Mexico declared commercial production on November 1, 2014 and is one of the highest grade open pit heap leach gold mines in Mexico.
