mako2022, I'm afraid i no longer have the confidence that this management can deliver the share price rises that i would have expected by now. I have reduced my holding by 70% over the last few weeks. absolutely dreadful share price performance...

epic, what concerned me was the drop in the Gold price, the high AISC of over $1100, which means a smaller working profit to fund exploration etc. It has probbably put a stop to any buy back of MKO shares which means with the continued selling we have no new buyers....

What are you projecting AISC to be once the expansion is complete? If MKO paid US 2 cents in dividends next year and that was expected to go to US 4 cents in 2024, what yield do you think it would trade at?

I think this is a much more rational reason to sell than blaming  the share price on bad management (which may also be true, but I'm so bad that I can't figure out what that might be :) the priority of funding is/was always 1) operations 2) exploration 3) debt repayment 4) NCIB/dividends.   Obviously from the above there could be times where we tactically change priorities ...more

Epic, there is a lot of purchasing done by Akiba.  But how much more can he keep on purchasing. I also read there is family involved?  on stockwick.com we can see the top share holders from companies from what I know. I personally own more then the chairman lol.  Also US global Investors sold 1Million Shares, that could contribute towards the stock price drop sometime in march ...more
