I see Akiba has bought 2 tranches of shares.. Sell high and buy low..Isn;t that almost like a a form of shorting...Well done Akiba .. at least he owned the shares he sold...

so, buddy gets a fund to buy in, get stock price to 2.5 and change, kicks some stock,  fund sells off stock buddy buy back in.  ok at least we know there is someting happening

Everyone knew the fund was buying so could have sold into it. No one expected the fund to sell as much as they did but once again everyone has a chance to buy at better prices than "buddy" did. I understand it's frustrating the shares are down but I don't see anything wrong with trading around a non-discretionary fund that doesn't care about price and value with a fraction

Thats where we differ Method, i don't expect the CEO of a company to trade shares in his company ..They have insider information, thats my opinion....

I am not saying our CEO has done anything wrong, i just don't like to see it, that's all....

In Mako's case, everything including the index moves are transparent. You know exactly what's going on too. You are applying a heuristic where it doesn't apply. If you think it's an effective strategy, you could just use it as a signal. If you don't think it's effective then it doesn't matter.

Whats going on with MAKO is certainly transparent, the selling is relentless, if this continues this week we could be down to a dollar. ALL sells on the OTC.....

We certainly don't have any buyers in a rush but relentless selling is a bit dramatic. 0.06% of the shares traded today, I think they sell because they are frustrated like you are. Not exactly a fundamental reason but markets aren't efficient, are they?

Method, there has been relentless selling for weeks, there is probably 25 to 30million shares in free float. Perhaps Wexford are buying the stock to take MAKO private, who knows whats going on in this transparent company
