It really felt like a bottom in the gold/silver price, is firmly in place. I visited about twenty booths of interest and many of the exhibitors all shared very similar remarks, about "how bad the market has been".

Interestingly, to counter the constant negative feedback loop I suggested that they put up a chart of Snowline: SGD. Then even more interestingly, a few days after, at the end of PDAC the CEO of SGD 

Got the Kitco CEO of the year in the non-producer category.

So back to Metallic talk about looking at a chart! It's only up over 70% since its fresh, 52-week low a few weeks ago. Not a bad move for such a "terrible market". Hey?

 

After brief discussions with management, it seems like they may be in negotiations possibly on several fronts.

 

La Plata is emerging as the money-maker. If the most recent drill results can confirm the lateral expansion of the monster hole hit last year LAP 22-04 then it becomes highly likely that Newmont will up the investment in MMG. 

 

Soon we should KNOW a whole lot more...

Matt, As you have suggested it makes sense to potentially spin off the Keno/Alluvial assets as an entity that will eventually get taken over by the obvious. That actually could be a great way to structure that newco to maximize its fair market value. While continuing the discovery process and adding a lot more ounces to bargain with. La Plata is a real wild card in waiting.  BTW my math
