From another forum

From another forum Mineral Mountains Target 1 drilling (for which assays are now pending) has been done to a vertical depth below surface of about 600 meters. Some polished core from the most recent hole, hole 14, was displayed at PDAC and from photos and comments by some who viewed it there I am encouraged that we may see some good assay results from this drilling in terms of gold grade and interval; theyre obviously already hitting the right Homestake mine type ore mineralization at Target 1. But IMHO we investors would do well to give MMVs exploration team the time and space to keep drilling deeper at their deeper targets, whatever the Target 1 results may be. I say this because their obviously pretty well developed exploration model (a very good model, too, from what we've seen so far) appears to suggest (and in particular by direct apples-to-apples reference to the nearby Homestake mines9.5 million ounce 9 Ledge deposit which graded 9.05 ounces gold per ton) that we should not necessarily expect to encounter the best and most economic grades and tonnages until the drills reach a depth below surface of 800 to 1,000 meters or more. These depths appear to correlate with the actual mined depths of the richest and largest centroid zones of gold mineralization in Homestake district deposits. Otherwise stated, whatever we soon (I hope!) learn about Target 1, and it might be very good or even spectacular (I hope this, too!), my sense of things is that we wont even begin to know how significant a discovery Mineral Mountain may have achieved at Standby until they do this deeper, additional drilling (and perform more down hole geophysics, which seems to be adding a lot to what they know). Such deeper drilling will apparently commence fairly soon from already permitted pad #10, too, (no doubt in connection with some additional funding its not cheap to go deep, but its warranted when the potential prize is a super-giant gold deposit) and will be directed toward Target 2 where historical deep scout drilling by Homestake ALREADY intercepted ore grade gold. Beyond deeper Target 2, and maybe even more exciting to me, looms the "large new gold target approximately 57%-60% of the Homestake deposit size within part of the Standby Shear Zone" we just learned about in the recent February 19, 2020 news release. Consider that quoted statement carefully; this single new target BY ITSELF looks to Mineral Mountains experienced team like it may be 60% the size of the ENTIRE Homestake deposit (which contained, as we all know, north of 60 million ounces of gold). To which we may be able to add all the other already sizable known targets in Mineral Mountains Rochford land package. Mineral Mountain does not seem to be hand-waving about it given that the comment is simply inserted rather matter-of-factly in its news release, but it's a big deal when cautious and conservative professionals say such things -- it's not done lightly. All I am saying here though, really, to the extent anyone may be interested in my view of it, is that the drilling of Target 1 is but the first of several steps necessary to answering the primary investment question of whether there is, in fact, significant economic Homestake style gold mineralization at Standby. Target 1 could prove that in a matter of days, but Im standing by until Mineral Mountains drills finally reach the depths where the real prize most likely waits. Good luck to all
