RE:RE:RE:Buy/add with confidenceFrom the news release: a 2.5 km long north-northwest trending band of well mineralized, metamorphosed and folded chert-grunerite of the Rochford Formation recording some of the highest grade gold values sampled in the Rochford District to date has recently been staked by Mineral Mountain. A total of 15 unpatented BLM claims totaling approximately 280 acres were staked to cover the 2.5 km length of this mineralized trend which includes three historical high-grade gold producers
The MMV theses is that "metamorphosed and folded chert-grunerite" (or sometimes Cummingtonite) iron formation at Rochford is analogous to a Homestake "Ledge" structure. They can probably see from the flyover magnetic scans the approxamate size of the iron formation under this Black Eagle-King of the West trend, and want to lock up mineral rights in case the thesis is proved to be true at Standby...
Economic gold was found in EVERY ledge in the old Homestake mine, although the ammount varied quite a bit. So finding economic gold at Standby would be extremely positive for their other targets, including Black Eagle-King of the West.
Perhaps the continued staking indicates Managements confidence in the thesis?
