Munro Bore Extension. 500,000 ounces CombinedA total of 12 RC holes for 1,301m were drilled at the Munro Bore Extension target in three lines covering a mineralized strike length of 160m within tenement M51/178.
This mineralization is the strike extension of the unexploited historical Mineral Resource at Munro Bore (266,000t at 1.6 g/t Au,)
From Yesterdays post which was extracted from the 2022 NR, it can be calculated that the simple average grade of the 11 intersects is also 1.6 gr=ms per ton.
Note also that when there were significant intercepts in the same drill bore that grades increased seqentially with depth.
Now, we also know the deminsions of the drilled zones.
These 160 m strike times 95 m wide times 160 m deep which computes to 2.45 m cu meters.
SG is about 2.50 tons per cu m which means the aureferous zone drilled contained about 6.0 m tons averaging 1.6 gms per ton.
This computes to about 300,000 ounces which is very close to the 266,000 ounces estimated across the boundary of the Munro bore.
Combined, the Munro Bore on both sides of the tenement boundary amounts to about 500,000 ounces.
It is stated that the 266,000 ounces across the boundary remains
unexploited.
It is noted that grades increase with depth and remain open at depth and to the west.
In summary, the 2022 drillling even tho very limited in drill density ( sampling rate ), has confirmed that the Munro Bore deposit continues into the MMY tenement at the same grade and probably the same resource size as JORC meassured across the boundary to the original discovery , which, combined could amount to 500,000 ounces of economic gold
