RE:Q1 News Release..Note Construction Activity at BurnakuraWith little in the way of planned exploration , the construction of a new drill storage yard is probably related to the much larger storage of drill cores needed for grade control and construction of mining benches .
One might posit that need would come from Turnakura .
High density grade control, usually on a 15 m by 15 m basis, is essential for efficient mining of the spatially distinct ( 3D ) good locations within the open pit so as to reduce waste rock to a minimum..
For the Turnakura pit as currently drill defined, perhaps about 50,000 meters of drilling .
Thats a huge number of drill cores compared to the modest number of core meters resulting from our drilling todate .
Along with the ongoing Feasability study of Burnakura, everything points towards ODY 's plan to resume mining of its newly discovered high grade open pit oxides at Turnakura .
With the POG above $2000, what better time than soon to make the decision actionable..
Things are heating up here.
The massive increase in cash flows now underway at Selsinsing fits in quite well with the imputed decision to resume mining of Murchison as expressed earlier.....conditional to Selinsing cash flows funding mine resumption .
I figure maybe $15 ...$20 million to upgrade the Burnie mill to 500,000 tons .
This could be enhanced by installing a XRAY sorter which would remove about 50% of the waste ore with commensurate increase in the head grade entering the mill.
Voila, we have a mill that can process 750,000 tons of MINED ore entering the mill with a head grade of 4.5 grams compared to the MINED grade of 3 grams .
Australia is the most advanced mining region for XRAY ore sorters..
