1.7 km of Supergene Latterite Gold at Tuckie
A 1.7 km of supergene latterite gold within 9 m of the surface averaging between 0.5 to 1.5 gram per ton was stated in the Presentation as a potential
quick start up source of gold
These supergene deposits are mostly small (<1.5 million metric tons) and of low grade but can be exploited because of the relative ease of mining and treatment.
The lateritic gold deposits are more or less flat-lying zones that contain primary gold as fine-grained particles and rare nuggets, of the weathered lode system that lay deeper.
Im no miner but it seems to me that they can profitably strip this shallow latterite gold to pay for grade control and bench configuration needed to access the higher grade oxide gold that lay beneath this latterite over burden.
I have been and remain very impressed with the ODY management team and their results todate adds conviction to my confidence in execution abilities
Backed up by the Apollo Group, they will be in charge of what appears to be an express self paying development program for Tuckanarra , with MMY as a 20% minority owner .
It is clear that ODY discoveries have ignited a new gold play in the Murchison district of Australia, in particular , demonstrating that low cost oxide pit discoveries which fed the first Gold play and made Murchison into a world class gold district, are not a thing of the past .
Fortunately for us, we are very well positioned for takeover offers such as the three already consummated ....
