Targeting >1,000,000 oz gold by Q1 2012

Targeting >1,000,000 oz gold by Q1 2012I check the slide presentation on the MOA website every once in a while and I noticed this header on the summary slide. I was a little surprised when I first saw the statement, but if you think about it one million oz is less than double the current resources at VL and GI.

I am also waiting for results from Glover. There is some info, including a table with all the drill holes planned at Glover Island, in the environmental assesment. Text, tables and figures from the assessement can be found at this link: https://www.env.gov.nl.ca/env/env_assessment/projects/Y2011/1582/index.html

The MAO slide presentation indicates they began drilling in the third week of August and the assessment indicates the initial drill site was LPSE, which comprises more than half the drill program. They will probably release their first results when LPSE is finished, hopefully this is soon. Two things I noticed from the environmental assessment was that historical drilling never went deeper than 150 m and it appears that the MOA drill program will double the number of holes drilled at this property, so it is very possible they will double the resource.

Cheers, WW
