Next stepsThe smart money is probably out of this stock on Monday. I have watched MPH for over three years because I happen to know the president from earlier associations when I lived in Winnipeg. He is an honest and credible guy and he has had considerable success. I bought a few shares when they moved onto the TSE, a major step for such a small outfit.
They have laid out their plans in a business like manner. To finance further phase II and phase III trials will be expensive and time consuming. There will be more share offerings and dilution. It is inevitable. If they can move the share price to sit at 1.50 or so it will maintain a higher cap rate.
What impresses me is that Bert Friesen is buying more shares himself. They are managing their finances prudently. Finally, they have a drug product that represents a new family of pharmaceuticals/therapeutics and they have taken the necessary steps to patent the products before getting too far ahead of themselves. Perhaps, a great buyout/takeout opportunity for some biotech that is struggling with its research pipeline.
