Insider Trading I note, with optimism, that Sheldon Inwentash/Pinetree Capital ceased to qualify as an insider as of 28 Sep 2012. It might be a good guess that all of the dumping that has been going on through the same trading house as of late could still Sheldon Inwentash/Pinetree Capital because if you are not an insider you don't have to report your trades. I'm not sure how many shares they may still hold, however, when any one company or individual dumps any stock at any price for tax loss or to gain a fraction of a cent without regard for the prospects of the company they are invested in, it can be a very misleading indicator of the real value of the stock.
Bottom line is that a beautiful opportunity is there to accumulate a company with a rich ore body for pennies. Many thanks to whoever is dumping for pennies.
PS: Because this is an open pit mine, the cost will probably be in the neighbourhood of $3.00 a ton vs $30-$35.00 which is the normal on average. Just more profit for the company. IMHO
