That step was supposed to be in January...these guys have no clue how to properly market a company. I love the asset, dislike the company.   I would prefer it in someone else's hands.

I understand...Unfortunately we have no control behind the scene and that is very uncomfortable when our money is in someone else’s hand...but if there is a positive look...it is certainly the fact that Insiders have recently purchased shares in abundance and that the core truth of the Corporate world of greed is to make money...I do have to give Johnathan More the benefit of the doubt ...more

So did the ex-CEO of Manulife...how'd that work out for him? Agree on the surface of your point, but that is by no means a guarantee. Many factors to consider before calling this a "Given".   ShyWest was up for sale in the same manner when they were at .70. They eventually were involved in a "take-under" at .20 or so.

Hey Glorious! Where do you see this company in a month from now? Thanks!
Comment by GloriousWanda on Feb 29, 2012 6:45pm
Obviously it is tough to say, as this is my opinion. Problem is we need to deal in facts... Opinion - one month from now stock is higher. All (most) signs point to that. We need the TSB report to know what is really there. Fact - TSB report is over a month late. Opinion - I think there is alot more reserves there than first indicated...I wont throw out numbers but my guess is its higher than ...more

Not really concerned with yours or anyone else's average price as I imagine you ae not concerned with mine. It is a pointless discussion in my opinion. And I have developed Zero oil fields in Nigeria to be clear.   I am not in this for the short term and think this is a tremendous asset I just have concerns whether these are the right guys to get full value. I am hoping to be proven wrong ...more

I have, I am not that nieve, As I said twice before they told me before it would be January, so how am I to belive them now? I came to this forum to see what sentiment is out there for this one. Realistically that will tell me what the 'public' thinks of this and what value can/may be extracted from this resource. I just want the details so I can run my numbers and then make an investment ...more

Thanks Wanda!   :)   .22?  Ouch, that would wipe out my gains and would hurt, but I would hold.

Ouch is right, but should be prepared for that.   Quick calculation lets say 20 mill resourse at TSB x $10/bbl x 48% interest/200 mill OS = .48/sh for TSB.   Any comments on my calculation are welcomed. I think we are over 20 mill BTW, but I use conservative numbers.
Comment by goldennugget24 on Mar 01, 2012 3:46pm
I like your numbers.  Added more at .265.  Wanda, are you playing MMT?
Comment by GloriousWanda on Mar 01, 2012 4:37pm
No sorry, I actually am never well diversified, I do a tremendous amount of due dilligence on my select names.   I always own 1 spec, 2 mid caps and 3 blue chips. Just a personal strategy, it helps me focus and kick some names out if I find a better replacement.   I would only look at it after exiting MRP.

What do you like in MRP?
Comment by amen11 on Mar 01, 2012 7:03pm
news release states that there is an increase of almost 500% in oil reservoir from 1980 drill results.  i'm guessing that the well will be over 30 mil  .  Never in the history of juniors has any report been done on time...Schlumberger is doing models on the zones and "supposedly" getting the info to the engineering firm doing the 51 101 and the interested party ...more

amem11, where did you find the news release stating almost 500% increase in oil reservoir? Can you post the link if you can? thanks

In short...I like:   - the asset and its value vrs. comparables like Addax - the upside potential (outweighs downside) - I like Mohammeds involvement (very strategic) - I like the insider positions - I also like photomans avg. cost per share

Buying is 10% of the game, selling is 90% of the game. I rarely make bad buys, just bad sells.
