Let's crunch some numbers

Can anyone translate them into $$?

The consolidated STOIIP for the Tom Shot Bank (TSB) field from RPS is as follows:

P90: 59.6 million stock tank barrels (MMstb)

P50: 100 MMstb

P10: 168 MMstb

The prospective oil in the U 9 reservoir, with a GPOS (geologic probability of success) of 76 per cent, is as follows:

P90: 8.62 MMstb

P50: 26.5 MMstb

P10: 58.3 MMstb

ok i am going to answer my own question...I get .65 ~ 0.70 @ $5/stb buyout or .26 ~ 0.28 @ $2/stb buyout at current SP at .24, the market is supporting $2 then $5/stb apparently So the ultimate variable would be $$/stb at buyout?

MRP has 54% net profit interest in TSB MRP takeover valuation should also include in addition to the TSB valuation for the oil & gas, 120 % operating and capital cost recovery to MRP through TSB production $28M in tax loss credit The above will be part of MRP takeover valuation and has been  emphasized by MRP management. MRP management knows the value of their field, better than any ...more

65M 2C P50 in ONE level only U7 There are 5 different laminates in TSB identified:  U3, U5, U7, U9 and U9.5 U9 which will be tested in TSB 3 increases the oil in place to 100M P50.

Discovered Petroleum Initially-In-Place (equivalent to discovered resources) is that quantity of petroleum that is estimated, as of a given date, to be contained in known accumulations prior to production. The recoverable portion of  discovered petroleum initially in place includes production, reserves, and contingent resources;

So can anyone here provide a breakdown of their valuation of MRP??
Comment by investpro2 on Jul 12, 2012 11:25am
With a risk of a blast from an unnamed expert, lol: Consolidated 2C $2 per barrel 100 M from U7 and U9 for TSB 54% net MRP = 54M assuming warrant expiry 180 FD = 0.60 per share (matches Cormark MRP price target) Also add MRP tax loss credit $28M = 0.06 per share Plus 120 % capital and operating cost recover to MRP through TSB production (value ?) I am going with 0.75 to $1.25 based on ...more

Let's just produce the oil ourselves and be done with it. We have all been looking for a quick profit and that is our downfall. Get rich quick never works! Let's stay the course and produce because only good things will happen on the way. I say pluck everyone else!!!

Yep, let's do what MMT did.  They almost sold at .14, look at them now, producing oil, making money hand over fist, and paying nice divys.

A possible suitor  can buy what 10 or 20 % before disclosure? =============== 19.9% of the shares..at 20% he has to offically make a take over offer.

if we shoot up on heavy volume on no news possible a bid has been leaked ===================== Or some one ( or a group of some ones) is manipulating the stock. Then again certainly NOT something that would ever happen on the Canadian stock market, let alone the TSXV now, would it ?   All wonderful news lately, or so it seems, but honestly - have you notice that all the hoopla is again ...more

Spoke with MRP IR friday, Brian, also with More (he picked up the phone from Brian): Confirmed my assumption as stated in their last Press saying that the Data Room would be open this month, ie July, would also include the 51-101 with it, answer was: "yes correct assumption" from More Also, belief from More and First Energy was MRP would solicit a "quick offer/sale".  MRP ...more

also, from More in MRP's favour is that TSB has higher netbacks as a marginal field, and there is high demand for the marginal fields, confirmed that MRP is rated as first to production

Gee, you think they would include the 51-101 in the data room, or just include some SH chat, lol? All the confidentiality agreements in the world are worth sweet nothing, so that is a meaningless stat since there will probably be dozens of companies in the data room.

Blindbat. No, they don't have to make an offer until they go somewhere over 50%, if at all. I had CTO years ago and someone got 51%, INCLUDING THE NO GOOD PRESIDENT'S PRIVATE DEAL WITH THEM. sTOCK SANK LIKE A ROCK AFTERWARDS BECAUSE THEY NEVER TOOK UP ANY MORE, WHICH IS IRRELEVANT HERE BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS 51% OF THIS. tHEY WOULD TAKE THE WHOLE THING. Sorry about the caps on by mistake.
